BRIXTON ST.VINCENT'S COMMUNITY CENTRE

BRIXTON CHILDREN'S VOICES VIDEO TRAINING

NEW………FOR 13-15 YEAR OLDS

In July-August 2006 16 young people aged 13 to 15 will receive 68 hours training in the basics of digital film-making, from project planning, through camera and sound, to editing and post-production. Working in teams of 4, they will make four short factual films, on subjects reflecting local children's experiences and issues which matter to them. Local children under 13 will also be involved, appearing on screen and making their voices heard via the films. The topics for the films will be decided by the young film-makers.

If you want to learn a new skill, and see an end product you can keep; make new friends; experience the possibilities of creative team work; enjoy setting and achieving objectives; and have fun join us for a taster workshop at the Centre this will be in May or June.

See what it is like being in front and behind the camera.
